Machingura is from Zimbabwe in Masvingo province mostly in the District of Chivi south. They are the village heads of Machingura village.Their clan is Shumba Murambwi but they always associate themselves as mhetura which is a dove. Masunda had so many wives and children. Machingura is the son of Masunda. Masunda is the fifth son of Chivi. Chivi is traced back to Chaminuka. They are all the Shumba Murambwi totem or clan.
Today they live in Chivi south ,their brothers Manyumbu, Chimhamhiwa, Chipindu, Muzogwi, Tawanda lives there too. They call themselves the dove because their father Masunda always liken him to the dove because of his character . Today they live in the area their father had allocated to them.They live on their forefather's land which is in the area of black and red sands, rich soil with many hils. The area is close to Chirogwe primary school and Chifedza high school, also Chikofa. He is next to Manyumbu his brother.
