Español: Cúpula de la sala capitular de la Catedral de Sevilla, Sevilla, España. La construcción de la sala fue iniciada por Hernán Ruiz II, pero sería Asensio de Maeda quien la finalizara en 1592. La decoración de la cúpula la realizó el prestigioso pintor Murillo en 1667. Los 8 óleos circulares muestran los 8 santos de Sevilla (San Hermenegildo, San Fernando, San Leandro, San Isidoro, San Laureano, Santa Justa, Santa Rufina y San Pio), mientras que la pintura rectangular de mayor tamaño situada en el centro muestra la Concepción Inmaculada.
English: Dome of the chapter house, Cathedral of Seville, Seville, Spain. The construction of the chapter house was started by Hernán Ruiz II but finished by Asensio de Maeda in 1592. The decoration of the dome is work of the prestigious painter Murillo and dates from 1667. The 8 circular oil paintings show 8 saints from Seville (San Hermenegildo, San Fernando, San Leandro, San Isidoro, San Laureano, Santa Justa, Santa Rufina and San Pio), whereas the bigger rectangular picture in the center depicts the Immaculate Conception.
Deutsch: Kuppel des Kapitelhauses der Kathedrale von Sevilla in Sevilla (Spanien). Der Bau des Kapitelhauses wurde durch Hernán Ruiz den Jüngeren begonnen und durch Asensio de Maeda 1592 vollendet. Die Verzierungen der Kuppel gehen auf den bedeutenden Maler Murillo und auf das Jahr 1667 zurück. Die acht rundumlaufenden Ölgemälde zeigen acht Heilige aus Sevilla (Hermenegild, Ferdinand von Kastilien, „den Heiligen“, Leander, Isidor, den hlg. Laureanus, die Märtyrerinnen Justa und Rufina und den hlg. Pius von Sevilla), während das größere rechteckige Bild in der Mitte die unbefleckte Empfängnis darstellt.
